From today the piers are all dug. Then it’s on to digging the small strip footings that would support the block walls at the front of the house high up on the hill.
Pier holes for the steel poles. The large holes at the rear with the large bucket to the right of them will be filled with concrete to help retain the soil above them.
Strip footings and pier holes done and ready for steel reinforcement and formwork to start!
Progress has been slow but steady on this very difficult site.
